SOMERSET YOUNG MENTAL HEALTH CHAMPIONS' LIFEHACKS

We are the Somerset Young Mental Health Champions and these are our Mental Health LifeHacks

We’re a group of young people who have spent time together talking about mental health and how it affects us. For the last few months we’ve been thinking about how to help ourselves manage our mental health and how to help our friends when they’re struggling too. So we’ve come up with two sets of LifeHacks: a set for you and a set to help you support your friends. After all, Mental Health is something you DO, not something you HAVE. We want to help you and your friends take action for positive mental health.

The LifeHacks Booklet is packed with ideas and links to support your own mental health and includes true stories from people who’ve tried them out. This booklet has all the details and is great to share with others who need it.

To help get the message out about this great resource, we’ve made these helpful posters in A4 & A3 and a postcard too.

'These life hacks have made a positive difference to my wellbeing. When I feel low in mood its easy for me to forget the simple steps I can take to look after myself, glancing at the life hacks reminds me of a plan to move forward.
