Talk Relationships provided by NSPCC supports all UK secondary, middle and special schools to confidently deliver inclusive relationships and sex education (RSE).
Talk Relationships is a service to ensure secondary school-aged young people can learn about RSE in a safe education environment that recognises, responds to, and prevents abuse.
We want all young people to understand healthy behaviours in relationships and recognise their right to be safe, heard and respected. And we want them to know how to get help from a trusted adult if they need it.
About the Talk Relationships eLearning training for teachers and school leaders
Talk Relationships: delivering RSE training courses are for teachers and school leaders that supports people working with pupils aged 11 and above to overcome any challenges they may face when delivering relationships and sex in educational settings.
- The teachers' course will help improve teaching staff's confidence in delivering sex and relationships messages and lessons and complements the Talk Relationships lesson plans.
- The school leaders' course supports leadership teams to take a whole-school approach to sex and relationships education and complements the Talk Relationships Whole-School Approach Framework.
The CPD certified eLearning training features a mix of reflective tasks and video-based content that share insight from teachers, young people, and safeguarding experts to help develop your school deliver effective and inclusive sex and relationships education.

How to get access for your school to complete the training?
All training is taken through the NSPCC Learning website and access to the training will be provided via email from Somerset Council’s account with the NSPCC.
Each school license is valid for academic year 2026/27. The number of users is unlimited per setting.
To register your setting, simply send an excel/CSV file to with the following:
Name of setting
Staff/Volunteer Name
Staff/volunteer Email
Staff/Volunteer Job Role
Once we have this information, we can allocate the training courses to you which will be sent via email from saying ‘You have been registered for training’. Please follow the instructions in this email to access the training and once completed, you will be able to download a certificate of completion for your training records.
