Here are some simple ideas that can be used by people trying to reduce how much they self-injure. Be realistic in your expectations and be sure to celebrate progress, no matter how minimal. This information is designed to be used by an adult supporting a young person through their self-injury, but you could use these ideas yourself if you’re trying to
stop self-injury. It’s always worth seeking the support of a trusted adult too though.
