Health Visiting and School Nursing

Public Health Nursing leads delivery of the national Health Child Programme (0-19 years).  There are a range of other partners supporting delivery of the Healthy Child Programme. 

The Healthy Child Programme offers every family a range of evidence based interventions including screening tests, immunisations, developmental reviews and information and guidance to support parenting a healthy choices.

It also outlines all services that children and families need to achieve optimum health and wellbeing (from universal services to intensive support).
